Will my Formas unit comply with the building code of Australia?

The Formas unit has been designed to cope with the most extreme conditions worldwide. They are manufactured to comply with, and in many cases exceed, Australian building code standards.

What is the Warranty?

All Formas buildings are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty which meets the Australian building code. Currently the warranty is 12 months for parts and 6 years for structure.

What is the delivery time?

As demand for Formas units has been high please contact your local Formas distributor for current estimated delivery dates.

How long will it take to assemble my Formas unit?

With the right conditions (e.g. weather, site conditions) our trained assembly team have been assembling the Formas unit within two weeks.

Is my Formas unit a temporary structure?

No. In fact the Formas unit comes with an independent producer statement certifying its structural performance.

Can it be moved again in the future?

The Formas unit is designed in such a way that they can be ‘folded away’, transported and re-opened by our trained assembly teams for as many moves as required. See your Formas distributor for this service.

What do I have to organise before my Formas unit arrives?

Customers are ultimately responsible for securing local council approvals and providing foundations and connection to services for your Formas unit. However, your consultant can provide these additional services to assist you in establishing your Formas unit on your chosen site.

What foundations are required?

The Formas ALTO unit is designed to be supported by 20 standard piles (or Mega Anchors); however, speciﬁc foundation design can be engineered to allow your Formas unit to be assembled on the most challenging of building sites.
