Transport
Formas buildings are unique because they can be shipped and transported safely, cost-effectively and quickly.
Each Formas ALTO or ERGO is shipped within its own protective covering designed to reduce the possibility of damage and ingress of pests, and arrives fully complying with Australian quarantine requirements.
On arrival at the wharf, all Formas modular buildings can be transported via standard trucking methods without the requirement for escort vehicles for oversize loads resulting in significant time and cost savings. Formas building are loaded and unloaded using gantry crane, mobile crane or side lift truck.
Due to the structural integrity of the Formas modular building in their transport state, all loose internal fit-out materials are capable of being transported along almost any road surface without damage or requirement for road surface preparation – if the truck can get there then your Formas ALTO or ERGO can get there.
Formas modular buildings are designed in such a way that they can be ‘folded away’, transported and re-opened by our trained assembly teams for as many moves as required.
Once arrived and trucked to your site, the Formas building s positioned onto its foundations. This operation can be performed in eight hours, provided weather is favourable, with delivery to occupation within weeks.
